Tor: Can changing Tor Browser settings make me easier to identify?

Short answer

Yes. Unusual extensions, fonts, scripts, or browser preferences can make your browser stand out from the group Tor Browser is designed to resemble. Some changes may also weaken security or break site isolation. Keep the defaults unless you understand the tradeoff, and use the built-in security levels when you need a supported way to reduce active content.
