Switch to Protonmail Reason #11: See when Proton Mail has blocked trackers in a message

Invisible tracking stays normalized when readers cannot see it.

Why this matters

Invisible tracking stays normalized when readers cannot see it. A visible count makes the intrusion easier to recognize. Privacy is easier to defend before this information is collected than after it has spread.

The protection

Proton shows a tracker-protection badge on supported apps when it detects blocked trackers or cleaned links.

Take action

Check the badge on promotional mail and use it to decide which senders deserve your attention. No badge is not proof of no tracking. Email protection depends on the route and settings. Ordinary mail involving outside providers is not automatically end-to-end encrypted, and email metadata is not universally hidden.
