Switch to Brave Browser Reason #7: Skip known tracking domains hidden inside links
A click can be routed through a tracking intermediary before reaching the destination.
Why this matters
A click can be routed through a tracking intermediary before reaching the destination. That intermediary can record the handoff. Privacy is easier to defend before this information is collected than after it has spread.
The protection
Brave's debouncing protection skips known tracking domains in some redirect chains.
Take action
Use Brave when following links in search results, newsletters, and social feeds. The destination site can still see your arrival. Brave reduces common tracking, but a site you sign in to still knows what you do there. Ordinary browsing also reveals your IP address to the destination.
