Switch to Brave Browser Reason #47: Choose site-specific exceptions without abandoning broader protections
One broken website should not force you to expose every other site to trackers.
Why this matters
One broken website should not force you to expose every other site to trackers. Privacy is easier to defend before this information is collected than after it has spread.
The protection
Brave lets you change Shields for a particular site while preserving the default elsewhere.
Take action
If a trusted service fails, make a narrow exception and revisit it later. Lowering Shields on that site restores some exposure there. Brave reduces common tracking, but a site you sign in to still knows what you do there. Ordinary browsing also reveals your IP address to the destination.
