The protection
Brave offers social blocking, and Shields limits many third-party tracking requests.
Take action
Turn on the controls for platforms you want to keep at arm's length. Logging into a platform still gives it your activity there. Brave reduces common tracking, but a site you sign in to still knows what you do there. Ordinary browsing also reveals your IP address to the destination.
