Switch to Brave Browser Reason #4: Partition browser storage that trackers use to recognize repeat visitors
Blocking ordinary cookies is insufficient if embedded services can reuse other browser storage across websites.
Why this matters
Blocking ordinary cookies is insufficient if embedded services can reuse other browser storage across websites. Privacy is easier to defend before this information is collected than after it has spread.
The protection
Brave partitions or limits third-party storage so one embedded service has a harder time joining your activity across sites.
Take action
Use Brave with Shields on, and avoid weakening storage protection merely to dismiss an occasional page problem. Logged-in first-party activity remains visible to that site. Brave reduces common tracking, but a site you sign in to still knows what you do there. Ordinary browsing also reveals your IP address to the destination.
