Switch to Brave Browser Reason #3: Restrict cross-site cookies used to assemble behavioral profiles
Cross-site cookies can turn unrelated visits into one persistent history.
Why this matters
Cross-site cookies can turn unrelated visits into one persistent history. The result is more than an annoying ad: it is a record of where you went. Privacy is easier to defend before this information is collected than after it has spread.
The protection
Brave blocks cross-site cookies and restricts the storage paths used for site-to-site tracking.
Take action
Open Brave's Shields settings and leave cookie protection on. Cookies from a site you deliberately use may still remember you. Brave reduces common tracking, but a site you sign in to still knows what you do there. Ordinary browsing also reveals your IP address to the destination.
