Switch to Brave Browser Reason #2: Stop advertising networks from following you across unrelated sites
A single ad network appearing on many websites can connect visits that feel separate to you.
Why this matters
A single ad network appearing on many websites can connect visits that feel separate to you. That trail can drive relentless targeting. Privacy is easier to defend before this information is collected than after it has spread.
The protection
Shields blocks third-party advertising resources and associated trackers by default.
Take action
Move routine browsing to Brave. Keep Shields enabled unless a trusted site truly requires an exception; a site can still track activity you give it directly. Brave reduces common tracking, but a site you sign in to still knows what you do there. Ordinary browsing also reveals your IP address to the destination.
