A job search can affect your livelihood. Outside trackers on career sites should not get a free map of your next move. Privacy is easier to defend before this information is collected than after it has spread.

The protection

Brave limits third-party tracking and cross-site cookies as you browse listings and employer pages.

Take action

Use Brave for job research and keep separate accounts where appropriate. Employers still receive applications you send them. Brave reduces common tracking, but a site you sign in to still knows what you do there. Ordinary browsing also reveals your IP address to the destination.
