Switch to Brave Browser Reason #14: Make medical research harder for third-party trackers to follow
Looking up a condition, treatment, or clinic is private life, yet pages about health can still contain advertising trackers.
Why this matters
Looking up a condition, treatment, or clinic is private life, yet pages about health can still contain advertising trackers. Privacy is easier to defend before this information is collected than after it has spread.
The protection
Brave's tracker blocking and cross-site protections reduce what outside vendors learn from those visits.
Take action
Use Brave for health research and avoid identifying yourself to unnecessary services. A clinic's own site can still receive what you submit. Brave reduces common tracking, but a site you sign in to still knows what you do there. Ordinary browsing also reveals your IP address to the destination.
