Switch to Brave Browser Reason #10: Bypass Google's AMP pages when Brave can reach the original site
Intermediary page formats can give a platform another view of what you read and how you navigate.
Why this matters
Intermediary page formats can give a platform another view of what you read and how you navigate. Privacy is easier to defend before this information is collected than after it has spread.
The protection
Brave's DeAMPing feature attempts to open a publisher's canonical page instead of its AMP version.
Take action
Choose the original publisher page when Brave offers it. That publisher and its own embedded services can still collect data. Brave reduces common tracking, but a site you sign in to still knows what you do there. Ordinary browsing also reveals your IP address to the destination.
