# Omarchy OS: Where are my user configuration files?

Most Omarchy settings are under ~/.config in your home directory.

Hyprland settings live in `~/.config/hypr/`, the shell and bar in `~/.config/omarchy/shell.json`, and Foot in `~/.config/foot/foot.ini`. Edit your user files; `/usr/share/omarchy/` contains package-owned defaults that updates can replace.
