# Omarchy OS: How do I enable a firewall?

Omarchy’s firewall is enabled by default.

It blocks incoming traffic except the LocalSend port. Incoming SSH stays closed until you run **Setup > Security > SSHD**, which opens a rate-limited rule. Check current rules before adding exceptions for another service.
