# Omarchy OS: How do I customize the terminal?

Edit the configuration for the terminal you selected in Omarchy.

Foot is the default, with settings in `~/.config/foot/foot.ini`. You can install Alacritty, Ghostty, or Kitty under **Install > Terminal**, and choose the default under **Setup > Defaults > Terminal**. Keep changes in your user configuration.
