# Omarchy OS: How do I change monitor resolution or refresh rate?

Set an output rule in ~/.config/hypr/monitors.lua through Setup > Monitors.

Omarchy uses Hyprland monitor rules. Identify the output and a mode your display supports, then set the resolution and refresh rate in your user monitor configuration. The shipped file has examples; the Hyprland monitor documentation explains mode syntax.
