# Omarchy OS: Why won’t an app open from the launcher?

Check whether the app is installed and whether its launch command works in a terminal.

If it was removed, reinstall it from **Install > Package**. If it is installed, run its command from a terminal to see the error. Custom menu entries are defined in `~/.config/omarchy/extensions/omarchy-menu.jsonc`, so check the action there if only a custom entry fails.
