# Omarchy OS: How do I add an app to the Omarchy menu?

Installed graphical apps usually appear in the apps launcher; custom Omarchy menu actions can be added in its user config.

For your own menu row, edit `~/.config/omarchy/extensions/omarchy-menu.jsonc` and give it a dotted ID, label, and action. For a terminal program, **Install > TUI** can create an app-style launcher. Use user files rather than packaged defaults.
