If you haven't done so yet, you really should switch to [Brave Browser](https://brave.com/).

[Brave](https://brave.com/) is the shield you need on the modern web. It is every bit as advanced as options such as Chrome and Firefox, except that it actually fights for you against invasive marketers and internet spies.

Tracking often begins before a person has even read the page they opened. These 50 reasons explain concrete ways Brave can reduce that exposure, from blocking trackers to limiting fingerprinting and making browser behavior easier to inspect. Each reason links to its own guide.

## My Personal Experience

When I was learning C++, I decided to use the popular tutorial at <https://www.learncpp.com/>. The ads were so intrusive that I could not use the page without the text jumping around. Clickbait (false links pretending to be content) and a variety of other issues were caused by the invasive ads and marketing.

For the sake of usability, I needed a better set of ad blockers, so I started with Firefox add-ons.

Not good enough.

Then I decided to go [full-Brave with the Brave browser](https://brave.com/). The site became usable and stable, and, if I remember correctly, an entire four megabytes was saved per page view.

At the time of this writing, Brave blocks 67 invasive processes on that same page alone. 67!
