Wooden Nickel is a restaurant at **114 South Elson Street in Kirksville**, with a history extending back to 1990. Its [Kirksville Area Products & Services Guide profile](https://woodennickelrestaurant.docu.team/mtiodew/index.php?store=8756&v=lp) records that opening year and describes a menu that includes pasta and seafood dishes.

That long history gives the restaurant a particular place in downtown: it is an established dining address that residents and returning visitors can look up when arranging a meal. Longevity alone does not tell a diner what is available tonight, so the current menu remains the best starting point.

## Dinner, ordering and catering

The [Wooden Nickel website](https://www.woodennickelrestaurant.net/) provides menu and online-ordering links, a catering section and a way to contact the restaurant. These serve different needs. A dinner reservation concerns a table at the restaurant; a catering inquiry needs details about the event, location and number of guests.

For a larger gathering, give the restaurant an estimated head count and date, then ask which arrangements it can accommodate. Confirm any deposit, menu selection and final-count deadline directly before treating a plan as booked.

The restaurant's contribution to Kirksville includes that range of dining uses: an individual meal downtown, an order to take elsewhere or a discussion about feeding a group. Those are practical services for residents and visitors organizing time together.

## Find the current information

Start with the [official website](https://www.woodennickelrestaurant.net/) or its [contact page](https://www.woodennickelrestaurant.net/contact). Older directory descriptions include restaurant and bar schedules; confirm the service and hours you need with Wooden Nickel before relying on those listings.
