# VelaCandle: Hand-poured candles with concrete containers VelaCandle’s online catalog includes concrete-container candles and refills, with a Kirksville storefront listed by city tourism. 2026-04-11 :: Switchboard Tech Services ![VelaCandle: Hand-poured candles with concrete containers](https://switchboardtechservices.com/static/images/defaults/articles.webp) VelaCandle is a candle business listed at **106 West Harrison Street in Kirksville** by the city's [shopping directory](https://visitkirksville.com/t/where-to-shop). The directory describes hand-poured soy and beeswax candles in handmade concrete containers or other jars. The [VelaCandle store](https://velacandlebykristen.com/) shows the distinction in practice: its catalog includes concrete-container candles, small tins and a concrete-candle refill listing. Those product forms give a buyer options for a gift or for continuing to use a container. Check the individual listing for the current scent, size and stock; a general refill listing does not guarantee that every vessel or scent is eligible. ## A downtown maker and retailer Main Street Kirksville included VelaCandle in its [2026 open-flag program](https://www.mainstreetkirksville.com/2026/05/17/29571/follow-the-flag-downtown-kirksvilles-newest-way-to-shop-local/). The program is a shared signal for participating downtown businesses when their shops are open. Its participation connects this product-focused local business with the broader shopping district. A locally listed candle maker adds a different kind of retail choice to Kirksville: a customer can browse a particular container style and scent rather than treating all candles as interchangeable. The catalog is also available online for people who want to check choices before visiting. Browse [VelaCandle's official storefront](https://velacandlebykristen.com/) for current products. The city directory lists **660-988-5159**. Ask the business about in-store hours, pickup and the terms of any refill before making plans.
