Ancient Web: Tiffany.org Kept a 1995 Pop Fan Club Independent
Daniel Tobias has maintained an independent fan website for singer Tiffany since March 1995, retaining discography notes, newsletters, mailing-list references, and a detailed changelog.

Tiffany.org does not sell blue jewelry boxes. It is about Tiffany, the singer whose shopping-mall performances helped make her an American pop star in the late 1980s. The site is very clear about that distinction.

Webmaster Daniel Tobias dates the page's creation to March 12, 1995, and describes it as an unofficial fan project. The front page offers news, a discography, picture galleries, an older fan forum, and even a downloadable Tiffany screen saver. A note warns that the site has no connection to the jewelry company Tiffany & Co.
Its About This Site page explains a fan's motive for maintaining an independent resource: an artist's official promotion does not always collect every obscure record, regional release, or old interview that listeners care about.
A fan network before the social feed
The fan forum page recalls the now-defunct Tiffany International Fan Forum, or T.I.F.F. It lists discussion mailing lists, a newsgroup called alt.music.tiffany-darwish, a fan guestbook, and a chat room on a former manager's site. The pages show a fragmented but enthusiastic network of fans using different services to find one another.
Even better is the What's New archive. A November 1997 note records excerpts from an online chat held a month earlier; an August 1998 update describes correcting a singles list with an actual HTML table; April 2000 brings photographs from a television performance.
These are not grand historical events, but they document the work involved in maintaining a 1990s fan archive. Somebody fixed links, accepted contributions by email, updated management contacts, and recorded regional releases that were easy to overlook.
The present homepage includes later references to Patreon, social networks, and modern Tiffany projects. Those additions coexist with the original site structure rather than replacing it with an official commercial storefront.
A homepage can continue changing without losing its historical identity. Here the dated update notes let readers see that process instead of merely guessing at the age of the design.
