A preserved Hong Kong Queen's College homepage dates its creation to December 1, 1995 and retains early Netscape-era school profiles, examination results, activity pages and counters.

A school homepage in 1995 was not a standard institutional requirement. At Queen's College in Hong Kong, somebody assembled a site from GIF headings, email addresses, navigation images, and the proud declaration that it was best viewed with Netscape Navigator.

Its footer gives a remarkably exact creation date: December 1, 1995. It also preserves the names and email addresses of several contributors, the Causeway Bay school address, a revision notice from March 1996, and a visitor counter described as active since Christmas 1995. The site is a snapshot of the school introducing itself to a new medium.
The school report becomes linked pages
The 1995–96 school profile gives statistics a reader could once only get from a printed prospectus. It lists approximately 1,200 students in 33 classes, 59 teaching staff, and facilities including a computer room, laboratories, two libraries, and a gymnasium.
The student section offers a student council, links to individual students, and examination achievements. One 1995 certificate examination table lists students' subject distinctions in a simple grid. These names belong to a period school publication; the page does not establish anyone's current whereabouts.
A separate school-song page places lyrics next to old graphics and the same period contact information. Together, the pages show a college website in which students, institutional history, examination results and extracurricular activities shared the navigation.
The project is now preserved under a dedicated qc1995.calvinchan.com subdomain. Its present location should not be confused with the original address shown in the old footer. The archived design is itself part of the evidence: tiny image buttons, animated labels, a Netscape download prompt, and unfiltered mailto links.
The site's importance does not depend on proving it was Hong Kong's first school homepage. Its own dates and functioning internal pages document an unusually early school community finding out what online publishing could look like.
